1. The present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a direction to the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Pataudi, District Gurugram for expeditious and time- bound disposal of the Civil Suit bearing No.CS/544/2018 titled "Sahab Singh vs. Ram Niwas etc.".

2. As per the Dashboard of District Courts Gurugram available on the website of National Judicial Data Grid, 22,155 civil suits are pending including 603 - 10 to 20 years' old and 3510 - 5 to 10 years' old civil suits. Further, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case titled as High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. State of U.P. & Ors. [2024 (2) RCR (Civil) 199] has held in para No.37(c) as under :

"37(c) Constitutional Courts, in the ordinary course, should refrain from fixing a time-bound schedule for the disposal of cases pending before any other Courts.

3. No exceptional ground has been made out in the present case for issuance of directions to dispose off the matter in a time bound manner. The present revision petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
