1. This is petition filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure is for grant of concession of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 003 dated 26.02.2018, registered under Sections 21 and 29 of NDPS Act, 1985 (Section 27-A of NDPS Act, 1985 added later on), at Police Station State Special Operations Cell, Amritsar, District Intelligence Wing (CID).
2. Learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Vikramjeet Singh, submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner already stands acquitted, vide judgment dated 19.02.2024, passed by the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner is not present to affirm the aforesaid fact.
4. In view of the statement given by learned State counsel, the instant petition is ordered to be dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. However, petitioner is at liberty to revive this petition in case the aforesaid statement is not correct.
5. All pending application (s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
