1. The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for declaring the advertisement dated 30.09.2011 issued by respondent No.1.
2. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous on account of the fact that the petitioner stands retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.01.2024 and may be disposed of as such.
