1. The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to consider him for the post of part time Sweeper.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent- bank in the year 2014 availed services of the petitioner as part time Sweeper. Services of the petitioner were terminated during pendency of the present writ petition as there was no stay. The petitioner as on date is not working with the respondent-bank.

3. This Court, vide judgment dated 30.11.2023 while deciding CWP No. 18839 of 2023 titled as 'Sanjay Kumar vs. Punjab National Bank and others' alongwith a bunch of writ petitions, involving the similar issue, after considering catena of judgments of the Supreme Court, has 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 21-01-2024 06:44:32 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:007862 CWP No.9684 of 2022(O&M) -2- 2024:PHHC:007862 dismissed the writ petitions holding that petitioners have no vested or fundamental right of appointment or continuation.
