The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the appointment of fourth respondent to the post of Principal (School Inspection Cadre) HES-II, Group-B, vide letter dated 24.03.1999, Annexure P-3.
2. Learned State counsel contends that the petition is infructuous since the fourth respondent has already superannuated from service. Besides, it is also not disputed at the Bar that the petitioner is no more.
3. In view thereof, the petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
