1. The present petition is for quashing of FIR No.316 dated 19.09.2022 (Annexure P-1), under sections 406 and 420 of IPC, registered at Police Station Bhuna, District Fatehabad and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 28.02.2024 (Annexure P-2).
2. As per the report dated 23.04.2024 received from the trial Court, it has been submitted that the petitioner had put in appearance before the trial Court for getting his statement recorded in the morning but when the statements were about to be recorded and the file was put up, the petitioner disappeared and the reason stated for the same that he was declared a proclaimed person in another FIR against him.

3. Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
4. Learned counsel for respondent No.2-complainant submits that respondent No.2 is bound down to execute a fresh affidavit for compromise as and when the situation arises and shall not back out from the same.
5. In light of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case to enable the petitioner to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law and file an appropriate petition at an appropriate stage.
