The petitioner has approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR No.02, dated 04.01.2023, Police Station Barnala District Barnala, under Sections 379-B, 341, 323 IPC (Annexure P-1) as well as setting aside of judgment and order dated 18.3.2024 (Annexure P-2) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Barnala, vide which the petitioner stands convicted, on the grounds of compromise.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition at this stage with liberty to seek necessary instructions for filing appropriate application in the appeal, which is stated to be already pending in this Court.

In view of the aforesaid request, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
