The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for setting aside the order dated 12.06.2017 (Annexure P-3) passed by learned JMIC, Ferozepur whereby the petitioner has been declared as proclaimed offender in case FIR No.156, dated 16.10.2015, under Sections 307, 382, 435, 427, 341, 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 436, 355, 298 and 379-B IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Kulgari, District Ferozepur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender before the trial Court in compliance of the previous order dated 31.05.2022 whereas learned State counsel informs the Court that the petitioner was arrested on 11.07.2022 and subsequently stands acquitted vide judgment dated 11.05.2023 by the trial Court.
In the light of statement made by learned State counsel, nothing survives in the instant petition and the same has been rendered infructuous and is disposed off as such.
