1. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that not only the respondent had retired from service since long but has already passed away and the judgment and decree in question dated 19.03.1998 has already been executed.
2. Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the appellant on instructions from Mr. Anil Joshi, Sr. Assistant, Office of DGP (Punjab Home Guard) Sector-17, Chandigarh, submits that by keeping the question of law open, the present appeal may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further.
