AMAN CHAUDHARY. J. (ORAL)

1. The present petition has been filed for quashing the impugned order dated 21.03.2016, whereby the claim of the petitioner for promotion along with all consequential benfits to the post of Senior Assistant has been rejected.

2. Learned counsel submits that the ACP of the petitioner, which was not conveyed to him, have not been still taken into consideration for promotion for the post of Senior Assistant, while his juniors have been promoted. 3. Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

4. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case petitioner submit a representation within a period of 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided in light of the afore-referred judgment, within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 25-04-2024 03:34:45 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:054832 CWP-16957-2016 (O&M) -2- address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
