1. Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant petition, seeking issuance of appropriate directions to the respondents to releasse him on parole for four weeks to enable him to renovate his house.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was convicted and sentenced for 10 years' imprisonment for the offence under Section 22 of the NDPS Act by the learned trial Court vide its judgment and order dated 16.11.2022. He further submits that though the petitoner had moved an application dated 02.04.2024 for grant of four weeks' parole on the ground of renovation of his house, but the same has not been decided so far. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.3 is directed to decide his application (Annexure P-1) in a time bound manner.

3.
