1. The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside/quashing of impugned punishment order dated 02.08.2023 (Annexure P-7) passed by respondent No.2.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the punishment order was a totally perverse and illegal order and against the aforesaid punishment order, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the Appellate Authority vide Annexure P-8 but the same has not been decided by the Appellate Authority till date and submitted that accute prejudice has been caused to the petitioner and also referred to a judgment of a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Jasbir Singh Versus State of Haryana and others, CWP- 6385-2018, decided on 23.03.2023.

3. Notice of motion.
4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Samarth Sagar, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents.
5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, this Court is of the view that at this stage it will be in the interest of justice to direct the Appellate Court to consider and decide the appeal within a period fixed by this Court.
6. Consequently, the Appellate Authority is hereby directed to consider and decide the appeal of the petitioner within a period of three months from today. The Appellate Court will not only consider all the submissions and points raised by the petitioner or his counsel or any other supplementary grounds, if any, taken in the appeal but also the judgment of this Court in Jasbir Singh Versus State of Haryana and others (supra) and pass a well-reasoned speaking order strictly in accordance with law.
7. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
