1. The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to release CPF and other service benefits arising on account of acceptance of resignation.

2. The petitioner after serving for 12 years submitted his resignation. The respondent vide communication dated 12.09.2023(Annexure P-3) accepted his resignation w.e.f. 30.09.2023 subject to deposition of two months salary.

3. Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab submits that petitioner has not been released CPF and other service benefits because he has not deposited two months salary and Government articles which was the pre-condition of acceptance of resignation.

4. Faced with this Mr. A.P.S. Tung, Advocate submits that petitioner within two weeks from today would deposit two months salary in Government account as well as return articles which are in his possession.

5. In view of statement of both sides, present petition stands disposed of with liberty to petitioner to deposit two months salary in Government account within two weeks from today. The respondent shall intimate petitioner within a week from today, the detail of articles which are allegedly lying with him. The petitioner within a week thereafter shall deposit articles lying in his possession.
