The prayer in the petition, inter alia, is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' case for grant of one increment which became due on First January or First July, as the case may be.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioners will be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to decide the pending legal notice dated 22.2.2024 (Annexure P-
5) issued by the petitioners in a specified period.

4. Ms. Tanushree Gupta, DAG, Haryana, appearing on advance notice, contends that the issue stands settled by the Supreme Court by judgment passed in Director (Admn. and HR) KPTCL and others v. C.P. 5. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioners has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
