By way of this petition prayer was made by the petitioner to provide him security/security cover as he is the main prosecution witness in case FIR No.79 dated 04.11.2015, registered at Police Station Smalsar under Sections 295-A and 295 IPC.
It was informed on the last date of hearing by the learned State counsel that petitioner has already been provided necessary security and even the armed license has been granted to him.
As per the status report dated 18.10.2023 filed by the respondent-State, trial of the case FIR No.79 dated 04.11.2015 registered at Police Station Smalsar has already been concluded vide judgment dated 07.07.2022 and the accused Prithvi Singh, Amardeep Singh and Mithu Singh have already been convicted.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, no further direction is required.
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
