(1) The appellant filed a writ petition through which challenge had been made to the appointment of respondent No.4 as Lambardar of village Rajalheri, Tehsil Moonak, District Sangrur. In response to the notice issued in the appellant's petition the State as also respondent No.4 filed their respective responses after consideration of which a learned Single Judge of this Court disposed of the appellant's writ petition with the direction to the Collector, Sangrur to decide afresh, preferably within two months, the matter with regard to appointment of Lambardar of the aforesaid village. Such order of the learned Single Judge is challenged through the instant intra court appeal in which notice and notice regarding stay was issued. In the 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 24-04-2024 20:52:01 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:052169-DB LPA No. 660 of 2024 (O&M) [2] 2024:PHHC:052169-DB meanwhile, this Court is informed that in compliance with the directions given in the impugned judgment, through an order dated 20.03.2024, the Collector, Sangrur has, after reconsideration of the matter afresh, directed appointment of respondent No.4 as Lambardar of village Rajalheri. (2) In the light of the afore subsequent development, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the present appeal with liberty to the appellant, if so advised, to challenge the aforesaid order dated 20.03.2024 passed by the Collector, Sangrur, in accordance with law.

(3) Needless to add that if any challenge to the order of the Collector, Sangrur, the liberty of which has been granted through the instant order, is made by the appellant, he will be at liberty to raise therein all grounds that will be available to him in law, which would include the issues taken up in the instant appeal.

(4) All pending miscellaneous application(s) also stand disposed of.
