As similar relief is being sought in both writ petitions to the effect that the respondents be directed to regularize the services of the petitioners from the date of completion of 10 years of service, the same are being decided by a common order.
Counsel for the petitioners had placed reliance on the judgment dated 23.08.2023 passed by this Court in CWP No.2269 of 2016 titled as Ajit Singh Versus State of Punjab and Others for being given the benefit. The matter came up for hearing on 04.04.2024, when the following order was passed:

Adjourned to 16.04.2024.
A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of connect case."
Today on resumed hearing, Mr. Balwinder Singh, Clerk from the respondent-Department is present in person and has apprised that the respondent-Department has decided to implement the judgment dated 23.08.2023 passed by this Court in the matter of Ajit Singh Versus State of Punjab and others bearing No.CWP-2269 of 2016 and that the petitioners herein are entitled to the benefits at par with the petitioner therein.
The prayer made in the present petitions is stated to be covered by the ratio of judgment of Ajit Singh (supra).
The present petitions are accordingly disposed of in terms of judgment dated 23.08.2023 in the case of Ajit Singh (supra).
All other misc. application(s), if any, also stand(s) disposed of accordingly.
Photocopy of this order be placed on the file of another connected case.
