The appellants-plaintiffs are in second appeal against the judgment and decree dated 11.03.1987 passed by the then Sub Judge Ist Class, Jalandhar whereby the suit filed by the appellants-plaintiff was dismissed; as well as against the judgment and decree dated 03.05.1993 passed by the then Addl. District Judge, Jalandhar in Civil Appeal No.63 of 1993 whereby the appeal was dismissed upholding the judgment and decree dated 11.03.1987 passed by the then Sub Judge Ist Class, Jalandhar.
Notices to the appellants were ordered to be issued by this Court vide order dated 24.11.2023. It has been reported by the office that the appellants have been reported to have died.
Neither the counsel nor the LRs have entered appearance on behalf of the deceased appellants.
The present appeal is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. Liberty is, however, granted to the LRs of the deceased appellants to seek revival of the present appeal, if so advised.
