Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 01.03.2024 passed by the Family Court, S.A.S. Nagar, in case titled as Amrit Rai and others Versus Pushpinder Singh.
The petitioner, who is father of Pushpinder Singh has approached this Court raising a challenge to the abovesaid order on the ground that under the garb of the said order, the petitioner is being harassed.
It is, however, not in dispute that an Award had been passed against Pushpinder Singh on 11.09.2015 which still remains unexecuted and executing proceedings have been filed. The conditional warrant of arrest has also been ordered to be issued against the judgment debtor, Pushpinder Singh, who has chosen not to appear before the Family Court to comply with the order dated 11.09.2015 passed by the then JMIC, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) in a petition under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C.
Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not wish to press the instant petition at this stage.
Disposed of as not pressed at this stage.
