Prayer made in the present petition is for seeking compensation in terms of the judgment rendered by this Court on 18.08.2023 in the matter of Rajwinder Kaur and another Vs. State of Haryana and others in CWP- 22904 of 2016.
Notice of motion to respondents No.1, 2 and 5 only at this stage. Mr. Sanjiv Ghai, Advocate, with Ms. Sukhmani Patwalia, Advocate and Mr. Parminder S. Kaul, Advocate, enters appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the aforesaid respondents. He informs that the Union Territory of Chandigarh has already initiated process for formation of a Committee as directed by this Court in the aforementioned judgment dated 18.08.2023 and case has been forwarded to the Election Commission on account of Model Code of Conduct having come into force and therefore, the present writ petition can be disposed of accordingly.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has no objection to the same.
The present writ petition is disposed of accordingly in terms of CWP-22904-2016 titled as 'RAJWINDER KAUR AND ANOTHER VS. STATE OF HARYANA AND OTHERS', decided on 18.08.2023.
