TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA J. (ORAL):
The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to recheck and revaluate the petitioner's answer sheet of subject knowledge test for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)-History, Rest of Haryana cadre, held during the selection process pursuant to advertisement no.28 of 2023 dated 24.6.2023.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to point out any provision in the advertisement or any other rule or regulation which entitles the petitioner to seek rechecking or revaluation of answer sheet. The law in this regard stands settled by the Supreme Court vide judgment rendered in H.P. Public Service Commission v. Mukesh Thakur and another, 2010 (6) SCC 759, holding that no direction for revaluation should be issued unless there is provision for the same. 3. In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain the petition.
