1. This is a contempt petition filed under Sections 10, 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for disobeying the judgment dated 07.08.2023 passed by this Court in CWP-5001-2017.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

3. Compliance report on behalf of the respondent has been filed by learned counsel for the respondent today in the Court. The same is taken on record. Registry is directed to scan the same and place it at appropriate place.

4. After going through the aforesaid compliance report, learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that the claim of the petitioner has since been accepted and their case for appointment have been recommended and sent to State Government for necessary approval, and that the petitioners shall be offered appointment after getting approval from the State Government, subject to the petitioners furnishing requisite documents, which have been demanded from them.

5. In view of the above, this Court does not find any reason to continue with the present petition any more. Hence, the same is dismissed.

6. However, if any grievance of the petitioners is left un- redressed, they would be at liberty to raise the same in any alternate remedy, but in accordance with law.
