VINOD S. BHARDWAJ, J. (Oral)

The present appeal has been filed against the judgment and decree passed in Civil Suit No. 468 of 1986 dated 18.01.1991 by the Sub Judge, II Class, Gurgaon and against the subsequent dismissal of the appeal by the Additional District Judge, Gurgaon in Civil Appeal No. 36 of 1991 vide judgment and decree dated 08.05.1991.

Vide Order dated 09.08.2023, the appellant was directed to take appropriate steps to effect service on the respondents by providing the correct address. The matter has thereafter been adjourned on two occasions i.e. on 31.10.2023 as well as on 12.12.2023, however, no steps have been taken by the appellants for effecting service on the respondents.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the appellants contends that they have already sent registered letters/notices to their 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 08-04-2024 23:34:07 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:046091 RSA-1743-1991 -2- client for seeking the requisite information and that no response is forthcoming. It seems that the appellants are no more interested in pursuing the present appeal.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
