The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking release of 6 detenues, whose names are mentioned in Para No.5 of the petition, who are stated to be illegally detained by respondents No.5 to 7.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has, however, restricted his prayer to the extent of issuance of direction to respondent No.2-District Magistrate, District Bhiwani, to dispose of his representation dated 03.04.2024 (Annexure-P-1) in accordance with law and keeping in view the provisions of Sections 10 and 12 of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976.
In view of the above submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-District Magistrate, District Bhiwani, to look into the matter and to MOHAN SINGH 2024.04.04 04:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment CRWP-3064-2024 (O&M) (2) 2024:PHHC:045762 decide the representation dated 03.04.2024 (Annexure-P-1), expeditiously preferably within a period of seven days from today in accordance with law.
A copy of this order alongwith representation dated 03.04.2024 (Annexure-P-1) be sent to respondent No.2- District Magistrate, District Bhiwani, so as to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
