1. The present appeal pertains to the year 1995. On 12.12.2023 the following order was passed :

"As per the Office report dated 11.12.2023, the sole respondent in the present case has expired. Learned proxy counsel for the appellant prays for an adjournment on the ground that learned arguing counsel is not available today.
Adjourned to 02.04.2024.
It is, however, made clear that no further adjournment shall be granted."

2. Today again learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant stated that he has not been able to file the requisite application for impleading the legal representatives of the deceased respondent and seeks some more time.

3. In view of the order dated 12.12.2023 there is no occasion for this Court to further adjourn the matter and the present appeal is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
