1. The petitioners have filed the instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 27.07.2018 (Annexure P-5/1 to P- 5/III Colly), whereby the appointment of the petitioners has been cancelled on the basis of inquiry conducted by Vigilance Department, wherein irregularities were found in the selections.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition is squarely covered by the judgment passed by this Court in CWP No.19685 of 2018 titled as 'Sachin Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and others' decided on 19.09.2023.
3. Consequently, the instant writ petition is dismissed in the same terms as in CWP No.19685 of 2018.
