This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the retirement benefits of the petitioner, i.e., Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity, Provident Fund, etc. along with interest at the rate of 18% for the delayed period.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.3 is directed to decide his pending legal notice, dated 18.08.2021 (Annexure P-6), in a specified period.

4. Mr. Sanjeev Kaushik, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending legal notice dated 18.08.2021 shall be decided by respondent no.3 expeditiously.
5. In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.3-District Education Office, Ambala, to consider and decide the pending legal notice dated 2023.09.26 14:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
