1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India for punishing the respondents for not obeying the order dated 04.10.2008 passed by this court in CWP No. 4886 of 2003.
2. Keeping in view the nature of the order, this court does not find it appropriate to initiate any contempt proceedings as such. Hence, the present petition is dismissed.
3. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the respondents under appropriate statutory provisions available under the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act.
