1. Prayer in the present petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing of award dated 20.03.2019 (Annexure P-10), passed by respondent No.3, whereby the reference of the petitioner-Union claiming pay parity/equation as fixed by the Ist Punjab Pay Commission and at par with the employees working in Punjab Vidhan Sabha w.e.f. 01.01.1996 and of the copyholder from 01.12.2011 at par with clerk along with consequential benefits has been answered against the petitioner-Union.

2. On 07.10.2023, the following order was passed:

"On request of learned counsel for the petitioner, HIMANI GUPTA 2023.12.12 14:34 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh 2023:PHHC:157425 CWP-22175-2019 -2- adjourned to 08.12.2023.
It is made clear that no further adjournment shall be granted."
