                                   VERSUS

STATE OF PUNJAB AND OTHERS ....RESPONDENTS

CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL

Present: Mr.Rohan Garg, Advocate and
Ms. Supriya Garg, Advocate for the petitioner.
                      ****

ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have extended the last date for receipt of the application form for the examination to the post of Accountant Grade-I but the same has not been done in the case of Accounts Officer. Both the posts had been advertised by the respondents on the same day. The result of C.A. Examination had been declared on 15.07.2022 and the last date for the post of Accountant Grade-I had been extended till 25.07.2022 keeping in view the declaration of the result. He has relied upon the judgment of the Supreme Court in Nisha Kumari and others versus Haryana Public Service Commission and Others, WP (C) No.310 of 2022 and judgments of this Court passed in CWP-8205-2022 titled as Raghav Gumber and others versus Haryana Public Service Commission and Another, decided on 22.04.2022 and LPA No.745 of 2016 titled as Bharat Bhushan versus State of Punjab, decided on 11.05.2016. He further contends that the petitioner has sent a representation (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.2 in this regard and he would be satisfied if this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation (Annexures P-5) in the light of the afore-noted judgments.
