Ritu Bahri, J. (oral) Petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents to conduct recounting of votes for the post of Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Badwa, Tehsil Nuh, District Nuh (Mewat).

Since the elections for the above Gram Panchayat were held on 02.11.2022, no directions, as sought for, can bee issued.

Dismissed. However, the petitioner can avail alternative remedy by approaching the Election Tribunal as per the judgment passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in N.P. Ponnuswami vs. the Returning Officer, Namakhal Constituency, Namakkal, Salem Dist. and others,1952 AIR (Supreme Court ) 64.
