Learned counsel representing the petitioner informs us that after filing of the instant writ petition certain developments have taken place in as much as the goods in question imported vide Bill of Entry No.4219305 dated 07.06.2021 have been released.
Learned counsel states that the only prayer that survives is for the respondents to issue detention and demurrage memos in terms of Regulation 6 (1) (1) of the Handling of the cargo in Customs Regulations, 2009.
Mr. Ajay Kalra, Senior Standing Counsel for the respondents makes a statement that even with regard to the afore-noticed prayer the matter would be duly considered and a final view would be taken within a period of six weeks from today and would be conveyed to the petitioner.
Statement is accepted.
No further directions are required to be passed.
