Grievance of petitioner herein, inter alia, is qua non release of his entire retiral benefits including gratuity and leave encashment along with interest etc.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner submitted a representation dated 24.09.2020 (Annexure P-6) followed by legal notice dated 14.12.2020 (Annexure P-7) but to no avail. Hence, the instant petition.

3. Learned counsel relies on a Full Bench's judgment of this Court rendered in case titled as R.S.Randhawa Vs. State of Punjab, 1997 (3) RSJ 318 contained at Annexure P-3.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would besatisfied, at this stage, if a final decision is taken on the legal notice dated14.12.2020 (Annexure P-7).

6. Ms. Anju Sharma Kaushik, DAG, Punjab who has joined proceedings on service of advance copy of the petition accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State of Punjab.

7. Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity toseek return by any of the respondents, as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

8. Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petitionis disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into thegrievance of the petitioner as per legal notice dated 14.12.2020 (Annexure P-7) and also by keeping in view the contentions stated in the present petitionby treating the same as supplementary representation and decide the same bypassing a speaking order, in accordance with law.

9. Let the needful be done within a period of 02 months from today.

10. Disposed of accordingly.
