Through this writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner prays for direction to the learned trial court to decide the application filed under Section 152 C.P.C for correction of the judgment and the decree dated 31.07.2019, which is stated to be pending for approximately two years. Section 152 C.P.C provides for amendment of judgments, decrees or orders on account of clerical or arithmetical mistakes from any accidental slip or omission. Normally, such application should not be kept pending.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the learned trial court is requested to make a sincere endeavour for disposal of the application within three months.

Disposed of in the above-mentioned terms.
