2. As prayed for, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner is permitted to implead Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Jehanabad as party-respondent no.7.
3. Petitioner is aggrieved for non-payment of retiral dues which has already been sanctioned by the appropriate Patna High Court CWJC No.3912 of 2023 dt.21-08-2023 2/2 authority for not having furnished life certificate. Such objection has been raised by the respondent no.5 - Principal Controller of Defence Account (Pension), Allahabad.
4. The Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Jehanabad is directed to depute a competent officer to visit the house of the petitioner at the address mentioned in the writ petition and submit the life certificate before the Treasury Officer, Gaya. The Treasury Officer, Gaya is directed to communicate life certificate of the petitioner to the respondent no.5 - Principal Controller of Defence Account (Pension), Allahabad so that the pension of the petitioner who is aged about nearly 75 years be continued. The above exercise is directed to be completed within a period of four weeks, failing which this Court will take appropriate legal action against the authorities concerned. The petitioner in this regard may avail appropriate remedy for taking action against concerned official.
5. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.
