BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 08-02-2022 The matter is heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:
"That, this is an application for issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the order of suspension issued by I.G. H.Q. under Memo No. 23/406014/P-1 dated 11.01.2019 interalia the following.
Respondent authorities be directed to pay all consequential and financial benefits to the petitioner."
3. During pendency of the present petition, order of suspension dated 11.01.2019 has been revoked. Therefore, the disciplinary authority is hereby directed to conclude the Patna High Court CWJC No.1533 of 2021 dt.08-02-2022 2/2 disciplinary proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order, if it is not already concluded.
4. The concerned Disciplinary Authority is hereby directed to regulate the suspension period as a duty or a leave at his credit with the relevant provision of law. If petitioner is exonerated in the proceedings in that event difference of salary for suspension period be paid. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of three months.
5. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed off.
