                     PRAYER: C.M.P.No. 17399 of 2023 is filed under Section 173 (1) of the Motor
                     Vehicles Act, 1988, to condone the delay of 1616 days in filing the above
                     appeal.
                                  C.M.A.SR.No.64632 of 2022 is filed under Section 173 of the Motor
                     Vehicles Act, 1988, against the judgment and decree dated 7.10.2017 made in
                     M.A.C.T.O.P.No.881 of 2013 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal,
                     Special Sub Court, Thiruvannamalai.

                                                           ORDER

C.M.P.No. 17399 of 2023 is filed to condone the delay of 1616 days in filing the above appeal.

2.C.M.A.SR.No.64632 of 2022 is filed against the judgment and decree dated 7.10.2017 made in M.A.C.T.O.P.No.881 of 2013 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Special Sub Court, Thiruvannamalai.

3.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Insurance Company – R2.

4.On carefully going through the affidavit filed in support of the petition filed to condone delay of 1414 days, this Court finds that there are absolutely no reasons assigned in the affidavit. The delay has not been explained anywhere in the affidavit. In view of the same, this Court cannot mechanically condone the exorbitant delay in filing the appeal. Hence, this Court is not inclined to condone the delay.

5.In the result, C.M.P.No.17399 of 2023 stands dismissed and https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 3 consequently, C.M.A.SR.No.64632 of 2022 is rejected. No costs.
