J. NISHA BANU,J.

and N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.

This Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the order passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P(MD)No.9358 of 2011, dated 05.09.2011, wherein the rejection order passed against the appellant refusing to appoint him to the post of Grade-II Police Constable was sustained and the writ petition was dismissed.

2.Heard Mr.G.Thalaimutharasu, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3.This Court has carefully considered the reasons as assigned by the learned Single Judge and we do not find any ground to interfere with the same. That apart, the issue pertains to the selection to the post of Grade-II Police Constable. The petitioner now must be aged about 42 years and no useful purpose will be served in dealing with the case once again on merits.
