                                                         JUDGMENT

(Judgment was delivered by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Mr. D.Veerasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the appellant seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the above Writ Appeal with liberty to file an appeal before the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise under the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in Bars and Shops) Rules, 2003. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the same, the Writ Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the appellant to file an appeal under Rule 9A of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in Bars and Shops) Rules, 2003, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment. On such appeal being filed by the appellant, the Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise shall dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
