                                                      ORDER

(Judgment of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.) Today status report dated 30.07.2022 has been filed by the Respondent.

The relevant portion of that status report is given hereunder:

“14. I submit that disciplinary proceedings were already initiated on 28.08.2021 itself. Explanation was received on 29.11.2021. Inquiry officer was appointed by the Government on 10.01.2022. After a detailed enquiry, the Enquiry Officer has submitted the final report on 29.07.2022 to the Government for further action. The Government is the competent authority to pass final order in the disciplinary proceedings.”
2. In view of the above, we dispose of the contempt petition directing the Government to pass final order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
