                the order passed in W.P. No. 19521 of 2015 dated 18.06.2018.

                                                    JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.) This writ appeal has been directed against the impugned order dated 18.06.2018 passed in W.P. No. 19521 of 2015 in which the learned Single Judge has come to the conclusion that the land covered in Survey No. 202/2 is a non-assignable land as it is a waterbody (Kuttai).

2. Heard Mr. P.Valliappan, learned counsel for the appellants and Mr. K.Karthik Jaganathan, learned counsel for the respondents.

3. We do not find any merits in the Writ Petition to interfere with the impugned order passed by the learned Single Judge that the land in question being waterbody cannot be assigned. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2/4 W.A. No. 2446 of 2018

4. Therefore, the writ appeal fails and the same is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
