Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India
seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents
to permit the petitioner to pay the Additional Security Deposit of
Rs.13,03,196/- alone in 06 equal monthly installments along with the
regular current consumption charges.

ORDER
The prayer in the Writ Petition reads as follows:-
directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to permit the petitioner to pay the Additional Security Deposit of Rs.13,03,196/- alone in 06 equal monthly installments along with the regular current consumption charges.
2.The issue in the Writ Petition is covered by the judgments of this Court W.P.No.16246 of 2016 dated 29.04.2016, W.P.No.9971 of 2020 dated 31.07.2020, W.P.No.10858 of 2021 dated 29.04.2021 and W.P.No.14688 of 2021 dated 19.07.2021. In the said judgments, this Court had extended the benefit of instalment payment for payment of Additional Security Deposit by similarly placed persons. I do not see any reason to take a different view.

3.Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner will be permitted to pay the Additional Security Deposit in six (6) monthly instalments along with regular current consumption charges on or before 15th of every Engligh calendar month. No costs.
