                Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,
                praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondents from
                disturbing the peaceful possession of the petitioner's land in S.F.No.208/24
                which has been affirmed by the learned District Munsif Court, Udumalpet in
                O.S.No.112 of 2003 dated 29.01.2004.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a Mandamus, to forbear the respondents from disturbing the peaceful possession over the petitioner's https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2/6 W.P.No.23398 of 2016 property in S.F.No.208/24, in the light of the rights recognized by the Trial Court in O.S.No.112 of 2003, dated 29.01.2004, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Udumalpet.

3. It is noticed that earlier this case was taken up for hearing on the previous occasion on 13.07.2016 and thereafter it is listed for the first time today.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has a prima facie case on merits as the petitioner appears to have right over the property in terms of the Judgment and Decree passed by the District Munsif Court, Udumalpet on 29.01.2004 in O.S.No.112 of 2003, I direct the respondents to maintain the status quo as on date and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2016, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
