The petitioner has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to permit him to conduct Udayasthamana Pooja in Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple on 21.07.2025, individually, with the endowment rights as confirmed as per Ext.P3 communication dated 26.03.2025; a declaration that the petitioner having remitted the entire fee as per Ext.P4 receipt dated 07.04.2025 is entitled to conduct Udayasthamana Pooja (through endowment created) individually in accordance with the prevailing custom, practice and as per the Ext.P3 communication dated 26.03.2025 of the 1st respondent Administrator; and a declaration that as the practice of offering Udayasthamana Pooja as per GDMC resolution 1 dated 26.10.2018, has been brought back to force vide the GDMC resolution No.2 of 16.06.2025 by a properly constituted body, the practice of offering individual pooja (by endowment created) on payment of fee for the remaining 4 devotees as per GDMC resolution 54 of 2018 dated 27.11.2018 is also reinstated in force.

On 14.07.2025, when this writ petition came up for admission, the learned Standing Counsel for Guruvayur Devaswom Managing Committee, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the directions contained in Ext.P2 judgment dated 02.04.2025 in W.P.(C)No.11863 of 2019, the Tantri has already taken a decision on the conduct of Udayasthamana Pooja in Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple. Based on the said decision, the Managing Committee has already issued appropriate proceedings.
3. On 16.07.2025, when this matter came up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel for Guruvayur Devaswom Managing Committee submitted that the decision taken by the Managing Committee pursuant to the directions contained in Ext.P2 judgment dated 02.04.2025 shall be placed on record, along with a memo.
4. Along with a memo dated 16.07.2025, the learned Standing Counsel for Guruvayur Devaswom Managing Committee has placed on record a letter dated 30.05.2025 of the Tantri of Guruvayur Devaswom; Resolution No.2 dated 16.06.2025 of the Guruvayur Devaswom Managing Committee; proceedings dated 27.06.2025 of the Administrator, Guruvayur Devaswom and letter dated 03.07.2025 issued by the Administrator, Guruvayur WP(C) NO. 25755 OF 2025 4 2025:KER:53237 Devaswom.
5. Heard the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel for Guruvayur Devaswom Managing Committee for respondents 1 to 4.
6. After arguing for some time, the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, as instructed by the learned instructing counsel, seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition.
Based on the aforesaid submission made by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
