JUDGMENT
The writ petition is preferred seeking police protection to the stage carriage bearing Registration No. KL- 08 AQ 2025 operating on the route Kodungallur- Perinthalmanna with a valid regular permit at that point of time. However, being aggrieved by the obstruction caused by certain bus operators as well as their employees at a place called Perinthalmanna, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection for operating his service.
2. On considering the plea, this Court was pleased to grant police protection to the petitioner to operate stage carriage bearing Registration No. KL-08 AQ 2025 operating on the route Kodungallur-Perinthalmanna against any obstruction with a rider that the petitioner has a valid permit to operate the vehicle, and shall follow the time schedule.
3. On considering the facts and circumstances WP(C)No.8541 of 2020 2024:KER:82984 3 involved in this case, it appears that on the strength of the police protection granted on 23.03.2020, the petitioner should operate the service, if he had a valid permit and he is maintaining the time schedule fixed by the competent authority.
If any further grievance is existing, the petitioner can approach this Court. On the said circumstance, making the interim order dated 23.03.2020 absolute, the writ petition is closed.
