                           JUDGMENT

The Director of Medical Education, Thiruvananthapuram is suo motu impleaded as additional 3rd respondent.

2. The petitioner is a retired Professor of medicine, who superannuated from the Government Medical College, Kozhikode. His grievance is that while computing his service for granting pensionary benefits the period in which he was on leave without allowance as per Ext.P1 order was not considered. He has submitted Ext.P2 representation before the additional 3rd respondent in this regard.

3. Since Ext.P2 was not considered by the Additional 3rd respondent the petitioner has preferred this writ petition.

4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that pursuant to Ext.P2 representation, the 2024:KER:81460 3 WP(C) NO. 15980 OF 2024 additional 3rd respondent has personally heard the petitioner and orders are awaited.

In the light of the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the additional 3 rd respondent to pass orders on Ext.P2 representation as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment.
