                      JUDGMENT

A. Muhamed Mustaque, J.

The petitioner, aged 21 years, has been restrained from entering into the revenue district of Palakkad by an order of externemnt issued invoking provisions under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 2007. The petitioner was involved in five crimes.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the only breadwinner for his family and he has to take care of his parents. The externment order came into force w.e.f. 15.02.2024.

Taking note of the fact that the petitioner had undergone three months of externment and considering his age, we are of the view that the operation of the impugned order can be confined to today (24.05.2024). Thereafter, the petitioner shall report before the Station House Officer, Town North Police station, Palakkad on every Sunday at 11 am for a period of three months.

This W.P.Crl. is disposed of as above.
