JUDGMENT
Dated this the 23rd day of May, 2024 The petitioner is before this Court aggrieved by the delay on the part of the Central Information Commission in finally disposing of Ext.P9 appeal preferred by petitioner. It is seen that Ext.P9 appeal has been filed before the Central Information Commission in the month of November, 2023.
2. The petitioner submits that the petitioner has received an intimation from the Central information Commission to the effect that the Commission being the Second Appellate Authority has already registered the appeal in the Commission and it will be heard in due course.
3. Taking into consideration the fact that Ext.P9 is a statutory appeal, the Central Information Commission shall consider the same within a reasonable time.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent-Central WP(C) No.6804 of 2024 3 Information Commission to consider Ext.P9 appeal filed by the petitioner and finally dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of three months.
