     Application praying that in the circumstances stated in the
affidavit filed therewith the High Court be pleased to stay the execution
of the award against the appellant in the judgment and award dated
28.04.2023 made in O.P.(MV) No.647/2020 on the file of the Motor Accidents
Claims Tribunal, Vatakara, in the interest of justice.
     This Application coming on for orders upon perusing the application
and the affidavit filed in support thereof, and upon hearing the arguments
of M/S.ANITHA MATHAI MUTHIRENTHY and ANGITA T. MENON, Advocates for the
applicant and of SRI.M.DEVESH,Advocate for Respondent 1, the court passed
the following:

                                        ORDER

There shall be an interim order staying the execution of the award passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Vatakara in O.P.(MV) No.647/2020 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall deposit 50% of the amount awarded by the Tribunal along with interest and costs accrued thereon within a period of two months from today. Upon such deposit, it shall be open for the claimant to seek for release of the said amount.
