                               JUDGMENT

Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 Form 5 application pending before the 1 st respondent.

2. Petitioner is the absolute owner and is in possession and enjoyment of 4.05 ares (0.0405 hectares) in Re.Sy. No.495/4-6 (Old Sy.No.131/4) of Muthuthala Village, Pattambi Taluk, Palakkad District by virtue of document No.1703/1/2002 dated 02.09.2022 of SRO, Pattambi. Petitioner submits that though the said land is described as 'Nilam' in the revenue records, the same was actually lying as a 'paramba' (dry land) and is included in the data bank.

3. Heard the learned Government Pleader also.

4. After hearing both sides, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 1 st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 Form 5 application submitted by the petitioner and take a final decision on the same as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

With the above said direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
